Editing

Adobe Premiere CS6

This year, our group have changed our editing software. The main reason for the change was because of the robbery. The computers that had been stolen from the school all had Final Cut on them but the new computers that have been installed into the school are now running the latest version of Adobe Premiere. Our group looked forward to the new editing software. The layout of the editing software was very similar and the steps for importing video files and so forth was also very similar if not identical to the way you imported video files in Final Cut. Our group thought that the way Adobe Premiere was presented and laid out was a lot more advanced compared to Final Cut but felt nice and comfortable to use. One thing that our group really like was the importing. Last year when our group had to import our video files using Final Cut, it was a long process as you had to click the play button on the actual camera. Now with the new editing software, all you have to do is click the play button the computer, instead of having to play and stop on the camera to find the part of video that you wanted to import.
