Target Audience
For our music video our group had to come up with a target audience which our music video would be suited to. When thinking about the target audience we thought about the initial pitch. Our group took into account that the type of music video that we were going to be making would include sexual things in such as wearing sexual Gothic clothing so we immediately identified that it would not be suitable for younger people such as young teenagers. Our group thought about making the music video for older teenagers and young adults as you wouldn't expect an older elderly person to be into the Gothic themed stuff. When looking at other similar music videos to our videos idea, we found that most of those videos had an explicit warning and you had to be at least the age of 18 on YouTube to watch it. Because of the use of explicit gestures and costumes used in our music video and the use of drugs and alcohol, we thought that it would be ideal for older teenagers from 18 and above to watch it.
Artist name(INCOMPLETE)
During the production of our music video, we knew that we weren't allowed to use the original artist's name for the digital posters/digital packs and website so therefore our group had to come up with an artist name. Surprisingly this took quite long for us to think of as some of the names that we thought of just didn't seem to match the theme of our music video or suit the image of Daniel who was the actor. There were many names that we thought of when choosing an artist name. Here are some examples of names that we thought of for our artist:
- Midnight Fear
- Xander
- Blade
The name that we came up for our artist in the end was the name:
About Us
Welcome to the Affinity Productions blog. We are making and producing a music video on this blog!
The name of our chosen song as a group is called "Pretty little angel" by Moonbootica ft IAMX.
We are an A2 media group and we go to the Coombe Sixth form school. Me and Daniel decided to take on a challenge this year, as we chose to work as a two instead of a 5. We worked as a 3 last year, with just one extra member and we succeded very well, so we don't see why working as a two would be a problem.
Me and Daniel are very passionate about music video's, and we are big fans of watching music videos, as well as creating our own music video and editing it.
This year we have to be a bit more experimental and there aren't really any major conventions to follow. We are certainly looking forward to making a unique and creative music video!!!!
Please follow our blog as we develop our very own music video!! :)

Responses to song choice
I find our song choice very catchy. There's a lot of rhythm to it. With the song we chose as a group, a lot can be done
with it. The lyrics are unique and interesting and I am
excited to make a music video of mine own using them!
I don't think we could have picked any funkier music...
to me the song is catchy and nice to listen to. I can't wait
to start working on this music video ;)
I am fine with our choice song as it isn't too fast or too slow, neither is it boring like many others.
I have always liked the song, and I thought it would be fun to make a music video to.
Me and Lauren both chose the song, and we both agreed on this one.
